Transneft’s mission is to maintain and master the skills of its engineers, technologists, and blue collars of the key specialisations.
Therefore, Transneft’s corporate training system includes seven corporate educational institutions that train the personnel of Transneft subsidiaries at additional professional education programmes, target courses, pre-certification trainings, and professional training programmes for workers:
- Tyumen Oil Pipeline Professional College (Tyumen);
- Novokuybyshevsk Educational Complex (Novokuybyshevsk);
- Regional Training centre at Transneft North (Ukhta);
- Kanash Transport and Energy Technical School (Kanash);
- Tomsk Technology and Humanities College (Tomsk);
- Amur Multifunctional Centre for Vocational Education (Belogorsk);
- Transneft UW Service training centre (Nizhny Novgorod).
Personnel training is carried out in classrooms and laboratories equipped with modern equipment, materials, and simulators, according to the programmes approved by Transneft. To master practical skills on the basis of corporate educational institutions, test grounds have been created with a wide range of equipment used at the operating facilities of Transneft subsidiaries.
In addition, Tyumen Oil Pipeline Professional College and Kanash Transport and Energy Technical School provide training based on secondary vocational education curricula, as well as further employment in Transneft subsidiaries for skilled blue collars of the following eight oil and gas professions in high demand:
- Line Pipeliner;
- Automation and process equipment device electrician;
- Processing units repairman;
- Commodity loading operator;
- Electric and gas welder;
- Electrical equipment repair and maintenance fitter;
- Chemical analysis laboratory assistant;
- Petroleum products pumping station operator.
